About: Topsy-Turvy Stacking Blocks are colorful cardboard nesting blocks that come with a unique twist. Each block is slightly slanted, which allows for an extra challenge when stacking, as children have to carefully position them so that they do not topple over.
Why I love this: The colors are beautiful! Also, I like that these are made out of lightweight material and are not super bulky. Of course, the additional challenge in problem-solving that they provide is also great!
Skills this works on: Playing with these helps develop problem-solving skills, hand-eye coordination, and color and size recognition. The blocks can also be used creatively to encourage imaginative play. This toy is open-ended so it is up to you and the child in how many creative ways you incorporate them into play.
Also: Stacking these requires increased attention since where and how you place the blocks matters in order for them to stay up.
Did I mention they make a super tall tower when all stacked?
