Goal of the game: Help Emmet the Elephant pack for a trip!
To Play: Take turns rolling the dice and packing articles of clothing into the suitcase that corresponds to the color you land on. Be careful! If you land on a mouse, it will dump out everything you packed.
Skills this works on: Turn-taking, following directions, patience, working towards a goal, attention, and social interaction.
Why I love this: The adorable suitcases are intriguing for little kids which keeps their attention and engages them in play.
Tip: You can use the props and make up your own game rules. One idea is to create additional articles of clothing to help expand vocabulary and introduce different seasons.
