What You Need To Know: The Hungry Cutters Magnetic Mix n Match Vehicle set comes with 5 different colorful vehicles inside a cool large sturdy case. Each vehicle is made up of 2 or 3 magnetic block pieces that click together and easily come apart (kind of like pop blocks just easier to maneuver). The vehicles are super fun to play pretend with. There is an airplane, police car, truck, taxi, and boat.
I think the yellow taxi is my favorite.
Aside from pretend play, pulling and pushing the cars together is great for encouraging kids to use both hands together (bilateral coordination) and strengthening hands.
The picture cards add a fun new and interesting twist. They also encourage visual attention and perception as kids try to replicate the different designs and patterns.
First, start with 2 cards to create simple patterns, and then add more cards to work on sequencing.
Remember to ask kids what comes first, second, third, and last.
