What you need to know: Where’s Mr. Wolf is a cooperative memory game that requires sustained attention and concentration to play. The goal is to help the animals reach their barns before the wolf gets them. To do this players take turns flipping over the tokens with pictures of animals on the back and inserting them into the matching barns.
For example, if you flip over the cow token you would insert it into the barn that has the picture of the cow at the top. The important thing is to not get any extra animals inside the barns. So players must remember which barns have had animals already placed inside and which have not. I know, it sounds easy, but it’s actually much harder than it seems.
Also, every time you turn over a wolf token, Mr. Wolf takes a step closer. So try and remember which tokens to stay away from.
If you’d like an additional challenge, cards with 3 animals can be placed on top of the barn’s roof. This would require children to keep track of more information.
Skills this works on: Working memory, following directions, fine motor skills, and teamwork.
If you don’t completely understand the instructions, no worries! Where’s Mr. Wolf comes with instructions on the inside of the box. So, cheers to not losing any more instruction booklets! Or is that only me?;).
