What you need to know: The Missing Cupcakes Game is a super fun and interactive board game for preschoolers. It is a cooperative game, which means that kids try and win the game by playing together instead of against each other.
The goal of the game is to bring all 14 cupcakes to the Pete The Cat’s birthday party. Kids score points (cupcakes) by performing different challenges on the board.
First, players choose a character to walk around the board. I chose the alligator. 😛
Then players take turns spinning the spinner and walking the amount of spaces shown. Each space represents a different activity. Players score points by performing activities on the spaces they land on.
The activities range from Charades to naming animals and the letters they start with to naming yummy foods to even singing songs.
Why I love it: This game incorporates many educational activities that preschoolers need to learn. It promotes socialization, active play, problem-solving, thinking on the spot, decision making, and so much more.
