What You Need to Know: I had a blast making these! No really. The age recommendations says 4+ but it can be a ton of fun for older kids (and even adults).
Okay what you really need to know: This Bracelet Making Kit comes with 10 foam bracelets (that’s right 10) and 4 elastic strings. That means you can create 14 different bracelets! It also includes flower beads, 10 velcro tabs, a glittery glue pen, and 13 sheets of sticker decorations.
Can you see why I’m so excited about this?
if not, keep reading…:)
First you choose a color for your bracelet. I chose orange in this case (as you can see). Then use the foamy shaped stickers to decorate it. I made a pattern with blue circles and yellow flowers. You can even make a 3D design by pasting one sticker on top of another.
When you’re done with your pattern, paste the velcro tabs to both sides of the bracelet.
That’s it!
So simple yet so fun!!
Here are a few others that I made to show you…
Here’s one I made by stringing the pieces.
Here’s even more good news…
Encouraging young kids to create bracelets promotes creativity, imagination, teaches about patterns, colors, shapes, and develops motor skills. It’s also a great quiet time activity that requires sustained attention. You can even take these on the go!
