What you need to know: Leaps and Ledges is a unique card game for kids that incorporates some luck and a bit of strategy. The idea is to move all of your 4 pawns to the top of the tower before your opponent by following the directions on the cards. Beware of some of the special cards though cause they can either set you back or help you along (depending on the action you need to perform).
Before you begin, snap the level platforms together and add the tower crown to the top.

Then choose a color of your pawns. You will be moving all 4 pieces. Of course not all at the same time;)
You will have to decide which pawn makes sense to move during each turn.
Once the game is set up, each player takes 3 cards. Players than take turns adding cards from their hand to the discard pile and moving the pawns according to the cards.
Besides for following the cards, there are a few other rules that you must always follow. For example: only one color of a pawn may occupy a level, etc. There are also special cards (below) with specific rules. For example: if you land on a Rampage card, you may move one of your pawns 5 levels up and knock down every opponent’s pawns along the way.
Once all of your 4 pawns reach the top of the tower, you WIN!
Skills this works on: Fine motor strength (building the tower), remember directions, sustained attention, perseverance, decision making, and strategic thinking.
